Turkish Airlines orders 15 additional B737NGs

Boeing said on Friday it had confirmed an order for 15 next generation 737s with Turkish Airlines. The order would be worth more than USD$1.2 billion, on the basis of the list price of the planes.

Boeing said the order is for 10 737-800s and five 737-900ERs.

Boeing has so far received orders from 14 customers for a total of 305 737-900ERs, the newest member of the 737 family.
