London Executive Aviation To Become Luxaviation UK

2016 05 31

London Executive Aviation is changing its name to Luxaviation UK in the next few weeks as the company completes its integration with Luxaviation Group. The change comes as LEA celebrates its 20th anniversary this month.

The company was founded in 1996 with a post-war hut in Stapleford, U.K. and two aircraft operating as an air taxi. Its fleet has grown to two-dozen light, midsize and large-cabin aircraft, including the recent additions of a new Legacy 600 and 650.

Luxaviation acquired LEA in 2014. “Our consolidation with the Luxaviation Group has allowed us to have access to the group’s 250 aircraft, 23 FBO facilities and an employee base of 1,500 worldwide,” said LEA CEO Patrick Margetson-Rushmore. “The next state of LEA’s journey, as we change our name to Luxaviation UK, will help us benefit from the group’s global portfolio and help us strengthen the UK’s business aviation industry by bringing economies of scale to the market.”
