Requirements To fly aerial survey in some of the densest controlled airspace as well as the most sparsely settled areas of North America. AIRBORNE SENSING ( has been in business since 1980 and operates 6 survey aircraft from normally aspirated Aztec to a turbo prop Commander 840.

Applicants must have a minimum of Canadian Commercial Pilot’s licence with a valid instrument flight rating, 1,000 hours Pilot in Command time including 250 hours Pilot in Command of a multi engine aircraft. Applications not meeting these standards will not be considered. We are looking at a good mature team player willing and able to take on this challenge.

You will need to reside within 1 hour driving time from the Oshawa Municipal Airport and/or our office in downtown Toronto.

Preference will be given to the following categories of applicants in descending order:

* Previous recent precision survey experience and/or flying turbine aircraft
* Experience in command of a commercial aircraft north of the 55th parallel and/or south of the 23rd.
* Ability to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages
* Ability to communicate in Spanish.
